Christmas Holidays in Lincoln

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a fantastic xmas and a great new year. We certainly had a busy one, with christmas eve at our place and then the Barossa for the day.

Whilst on one of our vigorous post lunch walks we encountered a small bunny stuck up a pipe. We got it out, to the dismay of the dogs baying for a rabbit snack.

Straight after boxing day we headed to our holiday in Port Lincoln. Here's some of our fav shots from our trip.

Blue blanket

Blue blanket had a wash this weekend, and Jack couldn't wait for it to be dry. He sat patiently beneath the hills hoist and I managed to snap a few pics...

It is now so clean it sparkles!

Hey all, so sorry for the huge delay in posting a new entry. After various complaints I thought we should let you in on our trip to the zoo..

It was really hot on the day (quite weird for Spring) but that did'nt stop Jack at all.. it was us who ran out of steam.

A big day for the Jackal.

It's one of those big days for any young fellow. The day that he moves from his little baby cot to his first big bed! He loves it, and it's been hard to get him off it. It remains to be seen how well he sleeps in it however....

Jack and the Kangaroo

We got in touch with nature and wandered through Warrawong Sanctuary over the weekend. It was a nice walk and the animals kept Jack interested for ages. His confidence getting up-close-and-personal with the Kangaroos was admirable and he was friendlier with them than he is with dogs and cats! Might be a good choice of pet???

Today we all hit the slopes of Western Brae to pick some Viognier. Jack made himself useful, eating the bunches of grapes like an apple, for testing purposes of course.

My newest cousin - yep...another one.

Jack has another playmate in the family now with the arrival of Darcy. We don't know how he is going to cope when he has to share the space on Grandpa's bike though! Not to mention how he will deal with Aunty Nae having a new number one boy in her life. Oh the trials of being a kid!!!

Power Nap

Hey all, happy new year everyone!

After a morning putting up the Jack proof fence we sent Gil off for a power nap. Jack can't leave his Grandpa for more than 3 minutes, so after tucking Gil in with his blue blanket, he thought he'd get some sleep on a cushion. Not tired though, so he lay there staring at us, clearly enjoying his "nap".

Chicken Run

Hello all!
Jack spent the weekend up at the Grandparentals house. He quite liked hanging around the humans, but could hardly pull himself away from the chooks up the hill. The boy is obsessed with them! He was up at 3am shouting "chook! Chook!" much to the hearty amusement of his parents.

Spring is in the air

The sunny first day of spring was perfect to go to the park. Jack didn't let his snotty nose spoil the fun either!

Uncle Jon is back

So we went to the park for a BBQ and a run around. YAY!

Kings of the slide

The lads hit the slippery-dips at the park this week. They even managed to share the tunnel... and there were no tears!
